Irish Water and Kildare County council have issued a boil water notice for parts of the county.
It is understood that the notice was put in place following a disinfection issue at Rathangan Water Treatment Plant.
Irish Water say the notice will apply to Rathangan, Tullylost, Ellistown, parts of Monasterevin, and parts of Kildare Town.
