Altogether, the most reviled utility company in the country has used €1.1million on advertising since its inception in July 2013. About €580,000 of that was spent on a major advertising campaign to get people to sign up.
These figures merely skim the surface of the monies spent on several campaigns, and do not include the cash spent on their latest advertising drive to urge people to return their duly filled registration forms.
This latest round of Irish-water related trivia is likely to pour more fuel into the pyre of wrath burning in every corner of the country at the mere mention of the name ‘Irish Water.’
