One fine day you might pick up the phone, and a voice belonging to an Irish Water member of staff may try to get you to sign up, and cough up what you owe.
It has been revealed today that Irish Water is ready and willing to engage in cold-calling its non-paying customers, hoping to make them change their mind.
This revelation comes after it was announced that just a paltry €30.5m out of the expected €66.8m have been received in payments.
According to a spokesperson at the utility, Irish Water is “fully funded to operate, maintain, and upgrade the network.”
