The Department of Foreign Affairs have sadly confirmed that a man has died following a fall in Greece.
It is understood that the man aged in his 20s and from Co Limerick died following a fall on the island of Ios on Sunday morning.
The Department say they have spoken to Greek officials in regards to the incident.
They added that consular assistance is being provided to the man’s family.
