“Is Martin taking them in?” – Government begs people to offer unoccupied homes to Ukrainian refugees

The Government is begging people to offer unoccupied homes to Ukrainian refugees, but it is unclear if Government ministers themselves are preaching with example and opening their second or third homes to refugees.

According to the request, people should be willing to let the refugees stay for ‘an initial’ six months.

The latest estimates put the figure of Ukrainian refugees in Ireland at over 70,000 by the end of the year.

Many people are questioning whether or not the governmental Ministers are going to offer their own homes to Ukrainians.
