The so-called ‘ISIS Bride’ Lisa Smith has been handed a 15-month jail sentence.
Ms. Smith was convicted of offences related to aiding the terrorist Islamic State organisation.
She had pleaded not guilty to the charges put to her. It’s understood that the so-called ISIS Bride is utterly outraged by the sentence and that she plans on appealing it as soon as possible.
Ms. Smith’s lawyers have asked for her to be released on bail, pending an appeal.
