Ms. Smith had been housed in Mountjoy for a number of days, but authorities decided that her personal safety might be in jeopardy there.
She stands accused of terrorism offenses after voluntarily traveling to Syria and joining ISIS back in 2015.
Ms. Smith denies the charges.
