A news outlet linked with the extremist group ISIS has claimed that the latter is behind the attack inside a Minnesota shopping mall on Saturday evening.
The news agency, Amaq, issued a statement linking the attacker to the extremist group.
The perpetrator, who wore a private security firm uniform, did make some references to Allah during the attack. He was shot dead by an off-duty police officer.
