The young man from Co Louth who was tragically killed in a car crash on Friday night reportedly died just 200 yards from his home.
The young man named Jack Matthews (20), from Termonfeckin, sadly lost his life after he crashed on a humpback bridge over the Dublin to Belfast railway line on Friday on night.
It is believed Mr Matthews suffered a number of fatal injuries when the car he was traveling in crashed at approximately 11pm.
Meanwhile a second man in the car, aged in his late teens, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
