The Government introduce emergency measures to lower petrol and diesel prices at the pumps on Wednesday.
The price of a litre of petrol will come down by 20c, while a litre of diesel will reduce by 15c. The changes will take effect from midnight Thursday.
However, people are saying that it’s absolutely useless and that prices are going through the roof regardless of the measures.
Social media users are saying that there needs to also be a reduction in VAT to try and combat the outrageous pump prices.
