Met Eireann is today saying that adverse weather conditions will continue for the next few days, with temperatures dipping to -3C at times, and the possibility of hailstones and snow.

Today, Friday, is expected to be a wet and breezy day, with some sunny spells developing by the afternoon, and temperatures reaching 12C at times.

Saturday is forecast to start off fairly dry, but rain showers will develop in the afternoon and evening, falling as snow in some areas.

Sunday is likely to be the worst day of the lot, with blustery and thundery conditions forecast for most of the day.
