With footage going viral of long queues of people trying to get into nightclubs over the weekend, organisers and entertainment reps say that the system is impractical, unworkable and basically yet another complete and utter disaster that the government have come up with.
Representatives of the entertainment industry have branded the Government’s ticketing guidelines for nightclubs and live gig venues a ‘disaster.’
From next week, everyone intending to attend a nightclub, or thinking of going to a gig, will need to purchase a ticket in advance.
The industry was only informed of this a couple of hours before they were due to reopen their establishments.
From now on, if you want to go to a club, you have to buy a ticket, have a Covid cert, wear masks inside, and remain dancing at all times if you’re to have a slim chance of survival.
