TV3 bosses are currently busy seeking a replacement for Vincent Browne, as he is expected to announce he will step down soon.
Browne, now 71, has suffered ill health for a number of months, and it is only a matter of time before he leaves the long running show.
Former minister Ivan Yates is currently doing a slot in Newstalk, where he has proven to be controversial but likeable. TV3 seems keen on working with Yates, and have recruited him to host a new-look weekend show, Sunday AM.
