A man in his 20s was shot a number of times at a location in Cherry Orchard Parade, Ballyfermot, at around 6:15pm yesterday.
He was taken to St. James’ Hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward and contact them at Ballyfermot Garda Station on 01 6667200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
