Jon Venables, one of the two people involved in the savage killing of James Bulger in 1993, has been denied parole.
Venables, who has been convicted of possessing child abuse images, will have to remain in custody for at least 24 more months before he’s eligible for parole again.
James Bulger’s family have described Venables’ ongoing incarceration as ‘a relief.’
