Jason Corbett is finally going to be laid to rest this Wednesday now that his children are home in Ireland. He will be buried alongside his first wife.
His body will lay in repose at Cross’s Funeral Home from 5.30pm Tuesday evening, with removal at 7pm to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro.
A piper will play at the graveside while two white birds are released into the sky. The funeral mass will take place Wednesday at midday with burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery, Co Limerick.
Mr Corbett’s body was flown home by the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and has remained in a special chamber at Cross’s Funeral Home since last Thursday week.
Police are treating Molly Martens Corbett as “a person of interest” as well as her father after Jason Corbett was found dead at their home earlier this month.
