Actor and liberal advocate, Jeff Goldblum, has provoked the ire of Twitter’s leftist mob after he questioned the “anti-homosexuality and anti-woman” nature of Islam while serving as a guest judge on VH1’s ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’.
The star of Independence Day received a torrent of hateful comments and abuse on Twitter after he queried a contestant who was wearing a stars and striped emblazoned hijab what they thought of Islam’s stance on women and gays.
In almost every Muslim majority country homosexuality is a criminal offence and in many is punishable by death while women in countries which impose the Islamic Sharia, women do not enjoy even the most basic equalities let alone the privileges afforded them in Western societies.
However, speaking about this reality often triggers leftists and liberals who believe that the religion of peace is above reproach and forbidden be criticised Goldblum being a white man is all the more enraging for these keyboard social justice warriors.
‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ features predominantly homosexual men who dress up as overly sexualised caricatures of women and compete for best dressed.
