
On Monday morning, 424 admitted patients were left waiting on trolleys in hospitals, reports Breaking News.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), 293 of these patients were in emergency departments, while 131 were waiting in wards.
University Hospital Limerick recorded the highest number of patients awaiting beds at 98. This was followed by University Hospital Galway with 54, and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with 29, reports Breaking News.
