Jennifer is on top form! Only 450 patients are on trolleys in Irish hospitals




According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), 451 admitted patients were without beds on Monday morning, reports Breaking News.

The INMO’s Trolley Watch reported that 296 of these patients were waiting in emergency departments, while 155 were accommodated in other wards across the hospitals.

University Hospital Limerick had 120 admitted patients awaiting beds. Of these, 49 were in the emergency department, while 71 were being cared for in other wards within the hospital, reports Breaking News.

In University Hospital Galway, there were 70 admitted patients waiting for beds. Cork University Hospital recorded 46 waiting patients, while both the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital each had 22 patients awaiting beds.

At Sligo University Hospital, 24 admitted patients were waiting for beds. Among them, 14 were in the emergency department, while 10 were situated in other hospital wards, reports Breaking News.
