Jennifer’s playing a blinder: Over 400 people on trolleys in Irish hospitals




On Monday, 405 patients were left waiting for hospital beds across Ireland, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), reports Breaking News.

Out of that total, 269 individuals were waiting in emergency departments, while 136 were on wards in other parts of the hospitals.

University Hospital Limerick reported the highest number of patients without beds, with 92 people waiting on trolleys, reports Breaking News.

Of those, 31 were in the emergency department, and 61 were situated elsewhere within the hospital.

At University Hospital Galway, 59 patients were without a bed, including 43 in the emergency department.

Sligo University Hospital reported 28 patients without beds, 16 of whom were waiting in the emergency room, reports Breaking News.
