Joan Burton has said there will be a “very open” discussion about her leadership at tomorrow’s Labour parliamentary party meeting.
The acting Tánaiste has said she is very confident that the party can rebuild after a disastrous election campaign despite reports that party members want a new leader.
Burton added she wants to hear what party members have to say.
“It’ll (the parliamentary party meeting) be very open, very inclusive and we’ve already had a very positive meeting of our Labour Party general council,” said Burton.
“People came from every constituency in the country in a really strong, very good discussion.”
