Good news for jobseekers today, as digital commerce firm Groupon has announced plans to double its current workforce here in Ireland to 200.
The announcement was made by Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton after the official opening of a new engineering and marketing center in Dublin. Groupon plans to recruit 100 software engineers, data analysts, and digital market analysts over the next two years.
Speaking from Dublin, Bruton said: ‘Today’s announcement that Groupon, a world leader in the (digital market) area is establishing a research and development hub in Dublin and creating up to 100 jobs, is a great boost. I wish Groupon every success with this significant operation in Dublin.’
