Job losses have been announced at the Stryker plant in Cork. It is understood that about 40 people are to lose their employment there.
A spokesperson for the company, which is sited on the Model Farm Road in Cork, said that the job losses occurred to ‘address the ever-changing needs’ of Stryker’s customers.
The jobs cut were believed to be temporary positions.
