Extremist TD John Halligan gave the most bizarre interview last night.
The Waterford TD is best known for not backing up his claim that he would step out of his cushy Ministerial position in government if he didn’t get what was promised for Waterford hosptial.
Alas, Halligan’s threats seem to be as empty as Enda Kenny’s promises.
Host Ryan Tubridy pushed Halligan on abortion, euthanasia and bizarrely his fascination and utter belief in aliens.
Halligan believes in euthanasia, but said he doesn’t believe in God.
Halligan said he absolutely definitely believes in aliens, there’s no doubt in his head that ET exists!
A darker side of Halligan came to the fore when he spoke about abortion. The TD wouldn’t condemn the disgusting procedure of partial-birth abortion, a procedure even most pro choice campaigners hate. It’s where a woman aborts her baby up to 36 weeks/9 months where the baby is fully formed and is still aborted. If the baby lives through the abortion, medical intervention to save the child’s life is prevented in America thanks to President Barack Obama voting against it.
Social media users weren’t happy with Halligan’s partial-birth abortion comment.
