Gardai have arrested a man in his 30s in connection with a deadly assault in Limerick earlier this week.
53-year-old Gerard Freyne, a local Limerick man, was assaulted in the city last Wednesday, and died in hospital two days later.
A 32-year-old man is now in custody in connection with the incident.
