John Hinckley, the man who attempted to assassinate US President Ronald Reagan, will be freed today




John Hinckley, the man who attempted to assassinate US President Ronald Reagan, will be freed today.

Mr. Hinckley shot the President and three other people in 1981. All victims survived, but Reagan’s press secretary, James Brady, suffered life-changing injuries.

Hinckley is now 67, and has spent more than 41 years in jail.
