Retailer John Lewis has confirmed that eight more stores are to close permanently, threatening 1,465 jobs.
The company is reeling from annual losses of £517m.
John Lewis has already closed a large number of its outlets, with the loss of 1,000 jobs.
After the latest tranche of stores closes, the retailer will only have 34 open outlets.
