When the 33-yr-old successful jockey was taken off riding his favourite horse, his life spiralled out of control and saw him turn to drink, drugs and women. He was a daily cocaine user at the time.

What happened then was he tried to take his life. He walked up and down a train track planning on killing himself but something told him not to.

He then turned to his friend and with his help he lost 5 and a half stone and got back racing.

His final message was “Just stay the fu*k alive” – and told people if they needed help to ask someone, anyone.
