Justice Minister Helen McEntee has confirmed that increased Garda presence in Dublin will continue for the foreseeable future.
The capital has become a hotbed of violent and anti-social behaviour over the past number of months, leading to some high-profile incidents.
There reportedly is a €28m overtime budget ready to go as more Gardai are deployed to rise the threat of local, Irish born and bred, non-migrant gangs roaming some of Dublin’s estates and the city center area.
