#KardBlock: Young British app developer creates clever new app that blocks any Kardashian related topics from appearing in your newsfeed

Tired of hearing about the Kardashians well you may be able to delete them from your newsfeed permanently after one British app developer named James Shamsi created an app, called #KardBlock, this week.

The clever new app which was created by the 21-year-old budding entrepreneur reportedly filters out any mention of Kim, Kanye, Kris, Kendall, Khloe, Kourtney and Kylie from the user’s news feed, with one click of a button.

The aspiring young developer told the Daly Beast: “Basically, what was happening was that there were Kardashians everywhere, and I wanted to do something about that.” “But for me, when I follow pages, I am not doing it to get a constant stream of updates on the Kardashians.” Shamsi further explained today’s news outlets are constantly reporting on the Kardashians, rather than more important news. “I am interested in deeper issues,” he said. “But every platform seems interested in Kardashian news to the point that everything else gets crushed.”

However the new app will not only the Kardashians it it will also block any other celeb news you don’t wish to read about, the clever app is also built to replace any Kardashian-related links with helpful news stories. Shamsi explained: “The concept here is to replace Kardashian links with ones to charitable causes of all kind,” Shamsi said. “But our ultimate goal is even bigger than just that. We are looking to disrupt the entire digital advertising space. We want to replace all advertising with donation links and important news widgets.”

Shamsi also claims that his #KardBlock app hasalready has over 20,000 subscribers who are eager to banish the Kardashian family from their news feeds. The new app is completely free and will be further developed in the future to better cater for people’s needs, he said.
