Katie Taylor has been named as RTE Sportsperson of the year 2020.
Following yet another successful year for the Bray native, Taylor was given the prestigious award in special ceremony which was broadcast on RTE One.
Taylor who won the award for the second time, capped off a memorable year after beating Delfine Persoon and Miriam Gutierrez in two high profile matches last year.
The two weight division world champion last won the award in 2012 following her heroics at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
