Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae is recovering today after an office fire saw him suffer some smoke inhalation.
Emergency services were called to the office/shop in Kilgarvan village complex, where Mr Healy-Rae’s post office, sorting office and his constituency office and shop are located.
It’s understood that Michael managed to extinguish the fire himself but inhaled smoke in the process.
Emergency services were called to the scene and took Mr Healy Rae was to Tralee hospital where he was treated for smoke inhalation.
Thankfully it’s believed that no serious injuries were caused from the fire.
