Molly and Thomas Martens have begun their appeal process against the murder conviction of Irishman Jason Corbett.
The Martens were convicted of bludgeoning Mr. Corbett to death with a baseball bat and a garden tile in August 2015
The appeal is based on claims that the judge excluded critical evidence, and that they did not receive a fair trial.
The Martens received sentences of 20 to 25 years in prison.
