The historic Kylemore Abbey are to setup a brand new centre of excellence in a new partnership with a leading university from the US.
It is understood the university of Notre Dame entered into a partnership the Benedictine sisters who currently own the landmark. The Benedictine sisters say the new partnership will greatly advance their own and Notre Dame’s shared spiritual, cultural, and educational missions.
Meanwhile the sisters say the massive one thousand acre site and building will still continue to welcome tourists to its grounds each year.
