Former Labour Minister Jan O’Sullivan was another high profile candidate to lose her seat in the general election.
O’Sullivan who has since revealed she won’t contest another election was eliminated on the ninth count in the Limerick Constituency.
The result now means that the constituency will not have a sitting Labour TD for the first time in 20 years.
