Large hailstones cause material damage and injure several people in Germany

A hailstorm caused substantial material damage and injured a number of people in Germany on Monday.

The incident happened in the Bavaria region in the south of the country..

Locals reported hailstones “as big as tennis balls” smashing glass and pounding people.
