There has been large praise for an Irish social media influencer who has had a big win against pathetic online trolls who were harassing her and her business.
In what can only be described as a very significant ruling on the social media landscape in Ireland and indeed Europe, an Irish social media ‘influencer’ has secured the right to find out the identities of online trolls that she claimed were harassing her, her family and her business.
According to the RTE, the judge hearing the case was quite satisfied that there was sufficient evidence for Lisa McGowan to be entitled to an order from Facebook, known as a ‘Norwich Pharmacal’ that would procure names, phones numbers, email address, IP addresses and Internet Service Providers for the trolls in question.
Online trolling is a common trait among very sad individuals who have nothing better to do with their lives only try and detract, defame and harass people that they don’t even know.
However, Ms McGowan won big today against the faceless cowards.
