Police on the Greek island have confirmed that a British woman has died after being struck by a speedboat.
According to Sky News, the 60 year old woman was sadly killed after she was struck by the boat Avlaki Beach on Monday.
It is understood that the woman sustained serious head and leg injuries following the incident.
Police say the woman was taken to Corfu General Hospital but she was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
