Ireland is set to experience a late blast of summer-like weather, as temperatures are forecast to reach 21C this weekend, with plenty sunshine and dry conditions overall.
An area of high pressure is currently building up over the country, leading to settled conditions throughout Friday and the coming weekend.
And the good news is that the general outlook is for settled weather to remain well into next week, so enjoy it while it lasts, as winter is just around the corner.
