Last orders? Pubs in Northern Ireland won’t reopen until at least September 1st

It’s really beginning to look like it’s anyone’s guess as to just when pubs will be able to serve their regulars with their usual beverage.

It’s been announced that pubs in Northern Ireland will not reopen until September 1 at the earliest.

The announcement comes after it emerged that the R number there might be as high as 1.8.

Here in the Republic, the number of new infections has been creeping up over the last two weeks, prompting the Government to postpone the move to Phase 4.
