The newly elected Fianna Fail Taoiseach Micheal Martin basically won the lotto over the weekend when he was elected as Taoiseach.
Martin, who was on the tiny wage packet of just €96,189 a year now sees a massive €111,401 added on top of that for additional expenses as Taoiseach.
Many people on social media think that it’s absolutely disgraceful that politicians are basically becoming millionaires for their so-called ‘service’ to the country.
Either way, Martin has just put a massive deposit in his pension pot.
