The Minister for Education Joe McHugh has said that the Leaving Certificate could begin on July 29th.
Speaking on an Instagram Live chat organised by Spunout.ie, the Education Minister said exams will still begin on a Wednesday and they could potentially be started at the end of July.
Although no official date has been confirmed, McHugh said that his department is looking at the possibility of starting exams on July 29th.
He added that a date could be confirmed within the next couple of days.
