The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that options may be announced for students this week.
Speaking to RTE’s This Week programme, the Taoiseach said there may be news this week for students but the examination advisory committee are working to ensure they had all the I’s are dotted and Ts crossed.
The Taoiseach also said that it is the Government’s priority to get primary school students back to school on a phased basis.
