Goldsmiths University of London is the only university in the UK to run Black British History courses. Their course leads to a Masters in Black British History.

However, Staff at the institution were warned in a letter earlier this month that they faced losing their jobs as part of cost-saving cuts.

The university has said it plans to make 52 staff redundant. This includes the equivalent of 20 full-time lecturers in English, Creative Writing and History reports MyLondon.

Black History lecturer at the Goldsmith, Dr. Christienna Fryar highlighted data from the 2018 RHS Race, Ethnicity, and Equality in History Report, which found history has been one of the least popular degree subjects among university students of colour.
Goldsmiths has committed to continuing to teach Black British history, but has not made promises about continuation of the course.
