It’s beginning to look like we’re going out of one lockdown and will soon be in another.
The former Taoiseach and soon-to-be Taoiseach again 2022, Leo Varadkar gave very mixed messages to the Irish public as to just what will and will not happen on April 5th.
Speaking to Virign Media News, the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar and issued a very stern warning to the Irish public
I do see a step wise return to normal life. When people are travelling internationally, they’ll have to have vaccine or recent test. When people are in large gatherings, they’ll have to have had the vaccine or recent test.
Varakdar said there is no guarantee that the 5km lift will now be lifted on April 5th. He said that there can be no assumption of anything. Varadkar said that the government hoped to ease the 5km rule, claiming that they can’t say at this stage whether it’ll be 10km, 20km, within their own county.
He said that people are going into work and are meeting with other people and that we cannot take those assumptions.
