Liberty and Axa are the first two insurance companies in Ireland to announce plans for rebates during the coronavirus crisis.
Liberty customers can either get a voucher for the value of 15% of their policy, or request the amount to be donated to a charity.
Axa has not specified how it will issue its rebates.
