There are reports this evening of a light aircraft crash on Mount Leinster, on the border between Carlow and Wexford.
A hillwalker witnessed the plane going down and alerted emergency services. It is thought that two people were onboard the plane.
Rescue crews are en route to the location to search for the aircraft.
