Lisa Smith, the so-called ‘Irish ISIS bride’, is today pulling at the country’s heartstrings to beg for forgiveness after claiming that going to Syria was a ‘mistake.’ She gave an interview to the Irish Daily Mail.

Smith, originally from Dundalk, has been living in a camp near the Syrian village of Baghouz with her child after her second husband was reportedly killed in action. Smith is now begging to be allowed to come home.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has so far shown keen interest on the case and is doing all he can to bring Ms. Smith and her child to Ireland, while at the same time showing little or no concern for the more than 10,000 people who are currently homeless across the country.

Do think that a person who’s been closely associated with a known terrorist organization should be allowed enter Ireland again? Let us know in the comments below.
