Local authorities have issued a swimming ban at Bundoran beach in Co. Donegal, after routine testing revealed the presence of E.coli bacteria in the water.
The local county council says that entering the water may expose people to disease, so it has banned swimming for 72h.
An update will be issued after that time has lapsed.
