A London mosque is on lockdown after a gunman tried to get inside while prayers were being held.
It’s understood that the gunman was ushered outside before a shot was fired at Seven Kings mosque in Ilford, London.
People at the mosque chased the the suspected gunman out of the building, and ran after him down the road but he got away.
Police have launched a major manhunt for the gunman with witnesses saying he was doing his best to get shots off inside the mosque.
No-one was injured in the incident and a major police operation is underway.
